Welcome to RenewSpark. By accessing or using our website (renewspark.com), services, or products, you agree to be bound by the following Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. General

  • These Terms apply to all visitors, customers, and users of RenewSpark.
  • By placing an order or submitting a battery for rebuild/trade-in, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old or have the consent of a legal guardian.
  • We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice.

2. Products & Services

  • RenewSpark sells new battery packs, rebuilt/refurbished packs, and rebuild services.
  • Rebuild services involve replacing old cells with new tested lithium-ion cells. Your original case and BMS (Battery Management System) may be reused.
  • We only accept lithium-ion battery packs (power tools, e-bikes, scooters). Other chemistries (NiCd, NiMH, lead-acid, etc.) are not eligible and may be recycled without credit.

3. Send-In & Trade-In Program

  • By mailing in a battery, you agree that RenewSpark is not responsible for any loss or damage that occurs during shipping to us.
  • Only eligible packs will receive store credit. Ineligible packs may be recycled responsibly, without credit.
  • Trade-in credits are non-refundable and may only be applied to purchases on renewspark.com.

4. Pricing & Payments

  • All prices are listed in U.S. dollars (USD) and are subject to change without notice.
  • We accept payments through the secure gateways provided at checkout.

5. Shipping & Delivery

  • Shipping policies are outlined in our Shipping Policy.
  • Certain battery products may require ground shipping due to carrier regulations.

6. Returns & Refunds

  • Our return and refund policies are outlined in our Refund Policy.
  • Rebuild services are non-refundable, except under warranty for defective workmanship.

7. Warranties & Disclaimers

  • Rebuilt packs include a 90-day limited warranty covering workmanship and cell defects.
  • Warranty does not cover misuse, water damage, physical damage, or improper charging.
  • All batteries must be used according to manufacturer guidelines. RenewSpark is not liable for damages caused by improper use.

8. Limitation of Liability

  • RenewSpark is not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products or services.
  • Our maximum liability is limited to the purchase price paid.

9. Governing Law

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.
